The undeserving maintain power by promoting hysteria.

Do not let us mistake necessary evils for good.
-C.S. Lewis
One of the most pernicious mindsets used to poison public discourse is the notion that adopting lesser evils to prevent greater harm somehow sanctifies those difficult choices. Incarceration may prevent individuals from rending the social fabric of interdependence; but depriving other of their liberty is destructive, and the damage caused can not be considered a blessing.
It may be comforting to redefine the harm caused to others as "good", but it lures one onto the path of corruption. In a desire to avoid cognitive dissonance , it becomes easy to proclaim that the admirable ends justify loathsome means, and that loathsome means are now hallowed actions. With such rationalizations, the concept of virtue begins to warp until "virtue" is indistinguishable with ones own desires.
The carnage wounds all parties involved; the toxin pollutes indiscriminately.

Auto pilot thinking
A word of caution about our genetic programs. When we breed for speed, we breed as well for very specific kinds of decisions. Speed chops out, edits out certain kinds of reflexive choices and long term consideration. Everything becomes the decision of the moment.
--Jesus Lewis, The E-Clone Directive
One of the most dire consequences of the ever-increasing pace of information lies in the way it structures cognitive processes. To deal with the requirement for quick choices, the tendancy to rely upon one's emotional short hand for judgement becomes ever more common. "Going with your gut" enables decisions to be rendered almost instantly about topics both complex and simple; topics that are well understood and those that are nearly beyond comprehension. However, this auto pilot thinking comes at a significant cost- the sacrifice of discernible logic and reason.
Reflexive choices and long term considerations are put aside in the rush to judgement. More often than not, people are loath to admit to mistakes made in the heat of the moment- despite the unintended consequences and damage caused by such hasty assessments. The tendency to become emotionally invested in such decision making processes precludes the objective assessments of their veracity, and thus integrates faulty thinking into ones self perception. Bogged down by a belief arrived at impulsively, mired under the weight of egotistical pride and intellectual inflexibility, one becomes trapped by a morass of thoughtlessness; floundering in a self created quagmire.
The actions of an instant bind one to permanent repercussions of damage and destruction.

State of styx
We must picture Hell as a state where everyone is perpetually concerned about his own dignity and advancement, where everyone has a grievance, and where everyone lives the deadly serious passions of envy, self-importance, and resentment.
-C.S. Lewis
Here then, is the mindset of the reactionaries. Their seriousness has become deadly, as the forces of resentment claim the right to kill; and self-important rage fuels the forces of insurrection. It is no longer enough to simply oppose other viewpoints; the pernicious nature of inflamed grievance demands destruction for those who hold conflicting outlooks. The lust for personal advancement couples with envy to spawn a demand that those outside the tribe be exploited; and the conviction that such exploitation supplies some amorphous benefit beyond the obvious self-enrichment. The idea of dignity has been debased; respect exists only for oneself, while contempt for alternative perspectives becomes a sign of strength.
For many, the desire to build heaven has mutated into a craving to raise hell. The stench of despair and damnation chokes out the breath of life and love.

The descent to hell is easy and those who begin by worshipping power, soon worship evil.

Boebert’s mother, Shawn Bentz, did not respond to a Facebook message asking for comment about her daughter’s first week in office. Bentz, who is an open supporter of QAnon on social media, went to Washington with Boebert for her swearing in ceremony. She was pictured with Boebert at that ceremony and mentioned that she had gone on detailed tours of the Capitol buildings with her daughter. She was staying with Boebert in her D.C. apartment that first week, according to her social media posts.
Prior to the Jan. 6 riot, using the Twitter name Shawna Roberts-Bentz, she retweeted White House political advisor Dan Scavino: “See you soon PATRIOTS.”
Days after the Capitol riots she posted — and later deleted — a link to a violent, dystopian YouTube video portraying the country’s military might under Trump, from rifles to nuclear bombs, and asserting that the military would stand with the president to keep him in office.
“Just when y’all thought My President was hiding out…He will not give up on us! In The End We Win!!” Bentz wrote after first commenting about the post: “If That Ain’t America I Will Kiss Your Ass!!!”
Bentz wiped all QAnon-related and extremist-supporting posts from her public Facebook page, leaving only family photos, medical fundraisers and links to her daughter’s official posts.
When Boebert was confronted during her campaign about expressing support for QAnon in a recorded interview, she backed off that statement and said that it was “more my mother’s thing.
And this:

Interestingly, her mother, Shawn Bentz, was a participant with the mob who marched from the Trump Rally over to the Capitol.
Her mother's facebook page (scrubbed of QAnon?)

Circumstantial evidence; without some sort of third party verification it is hard to be sure. However, it does not appear so far fetched.
Update: The bullhorn lady has been captured, not Bentz. It pays to be cautious when making accusations .
